Internocracy is a youth-led social enterprise aimed at raising the bar and lowering the barriers in internships. Working with employers and interns, we are aiming to address the quality and accessibility of internships across sectors in the UK. Take a look at our website to find out more and get involved! www.internocracy.org
Internocracy was founded by Becky Heath and Dom Potter, after they decided to do something about the state of internships in the UK, having done 6 internships (some great, some terrible) between them. They run Internocracy together with the help of a team of interesting people who (in return for a coffee, a chat and the odd biscuit) give their time, expertise and enthusiasm for changing the culture of internships for the better.
ps – If you’ve come to this page to find out more about our obsession with biscuits, it’s something we can’t really explain but to say they seem, to us, to be symbolic of the internship experience because they go so well with tea. And we’ve made a lot of that in recent years. Plus you can scoff them whilst photocopying.
